An ideal venue

In November we took a group of our Year 11 Scholars to Tyn’Y’Felin for a 3 day residential. Tynny was an ideal venue for this projects as it provided a space in which the students were able to explore the curriculum and subject areas in a learning environment outside of the classroom. The space enabled break outs so that the students could hone their skills over the three days. Being based in such beautiful surroundings meant, that even though the weather was temperamental, the students all wanted to blow away the cobwebs either on the creek or in the local coastal town. Having been there in Year 7, students fondness of Tynny was evident and there were lots of nostalgic reminiscence throughout the break.
